Ages 6 through 12

During Fridays in the Forest, children will experience what forest schooling has to offer each week: We'll dive into the art of survival skills, as well as an exploration and study of the flora and fauna that inhabits our site. Our approach fosters collaborative learning, where participants thrive in all elements while experiencing all seasons.

Research shows that learning outside encourages critical thinking, enhances focus, fosters resilience, supports informed risk management, builds confidence, and exercises effective problem-solving skills. In the outdoors, Folksy kids are inspired to test the limits or their abilities while they learn to collaborate with others through imaginative play.

Let's chat! The first step is to come in for one of our open houses. Take a tour of the house, engage in a planned activity, and visit our forest school site. Tea will be served and our directors and teachers will be there to answer any questions you bring.
